Seams and stitches
- Double stitches are always parallel to each other and to the line of the seam.
- All stitches in double top stitching, as a rule, are aligned.
- Top stitching and seams must be depicted with a different type of line: seam as a solid line and top stitching as a dashed line.
- Industrial top stitching and handmade top stitching must be depicted differently:
- In handmade top stitching spaces between stitches are longer than the length of the stitches themselves.
- In industrial top stitching spaces between stitches are shorter than the length of the stitches themselves.
- Seams: side seams and shoulder seams must be equal on the front view and on the back view of the same garment.
