Technical drawing for fashion must be true to human figure

Draw the garment using croquis ( garment drawing figure template).
Draw the garment using croquis as a guide, do not outline or shape the garment over the shape of the croquis itself. The body of a croquis figure should be used only for proportions and fitting. Garment must not be shaped around a croquis and should not "hug" the form of a body. Croquis is an invisible "system of origin" for a drawing of a garment, not a visible "live body "on which the garment is actually worn. The objective of technical drawing is not showing garment on a bodice (croquis) but to show the flat garment with a help of a bodice (croquis).
Garment depicted with a croquis must not be smaller than the croquis in any part of the garment but not too large for a croquis either.
